How does it feel to be doing online learning? On CANVAS, you should be seeing the Music lessons for each week of online learning. My blog will include activities that go along with the Canvas content, and also maybe an extra thing or two that we love to do together!
Kindergarten & 1st Grades:
Walk around your house and pick out 4 random items that you see. Maybe you'll find a marker, brush, pencil, news paper. Then, use this steady beat chart to figure out how many sounds each of your word makes.

Try as many as you want! Then try singing the words on so-mi notes!
2nd Grade:
Sing one of our favorite songs "Here Comes A Bluebird" and figure out the rhythms!
3rd Grade:
Even though Halloween was a long time ago, we can still have fun with our SPOOKY rhythms! After you come up with your own rhythms, see if you can find a springtime word with 4 sounds, 2 sounds, and 1 sound
4th & 5th Grades:
Go to the Chrome music lab by clicking here See if you can incorporate our 4th and 5th grade rhythms like ta, tadi, takadimi, ta-dimi, and taka-di.
